We're moving!!

Yeah, guys and girls. Picap has started it up and has added an amazing amount of pictures and information already. It's looking great and the old crew are there adding stuff like crazy. There's a section for general discussion, one for events and a section for films. That loyal, old dog BsM84 has been bashing a load of info about "The Evans" lesser known films. A collection of photoshoots is popping up too. I can't believe how much stuff the guys have compiled in what is basically a few days! It's looking promising and is a much better format than this IMDb and imo better that tumblr and twitter which is a bit here today, gone tomorrow for my liking. This new place has pictures to look at, words to read, videos to watch and hopefully the atmosphere of respect and dare I say love without being laughed at that we managed here? Picap at the helm, BsM making us laugh and bethnor keeping us grounded. Here we go. Wish us luck.

This may well be my last post on IMDb so I feel I should say something relevant.

It's been fun and it's reassuring to find an oasis of 'niceness' on a site like this. Chris Evans, sorry .. The Evans, has a sh-tload of fans of various shades but some of them are actually really nice if you look hard enough.

What are the new rules as far as moderation?

Oh, if you've been reading this board you will already have a feel. I don't think there is a list of rules!! Just read it for a while and you'll get it.

It's hard to explain. There are people who know a hell of a lot about Marvel films and comic novels. There are people who know a ridiculous amount about Chris's films. People who know a lot about his life. Some who've been following his career for a decade. Some who really find him hot to be honest and would love a date and others who are straight guys who just enjoy his films and would love to share a beer with him. People are actually really different but share a 'love' of Chris Evans. We seem to all fit together somehow and the combined knowledge is pretty impressive.

I would maybe just say avoid gossip about his private life and if you want pap photos of him coming out of a restaurant with a date just stick to tumblr. Is that fair?

i can't presume to speak for picap, but since picap created the board and possibly may be paying for it, generally speaking people should try to honor picap's wishes. picap doesn't seem like the censoring type, but i think it would be a bit rude for people to go over there and test limits by insinuating about drug abuse, ex-girlfriends, sexual escapades, how chris is a libtard, etc., etc.

I'd go along with bethnor on all of that. She's not paying so far, (I asked) but that might come in the future.

I'd say just be sensible:

don't type with your mouth full
keep your shirt tucked in
use a spoolcheck and make sure your potatoes make sense
keep well clear of celebrity gossip unless you made it up yourself
be nice

So is this my last post? May well be. Will I ever stop using verbs with out a pronoun? Don't know.

Zack, Karlacev, bethnor1,and of course B-dog (yes I went there) have pretty much summed up my sentiments. It's nice to have an oasis, if you will, to have open, and sometimes frank discussions that may have nothing to do with the Evans, but have definitely given us insight on those who regularly post here. We're from varied backgrounds, countries, etc, but we have a commonality that keeps us coming back. It's a great group of people. Stop on by if you're new here or have been lurking in the shadows, as I once was. It promises to be a good time I'm sure. I have one question though, will there be wine? Everything's better with a little wine. I'd settle for a good brew as well. Later gators.
