Interesting casting. In my head he's the David Bowie looking grinning guy on the beach in the Sandman and Lucifer comics. But I love Tom Ellis. Shame they chucked out all the interesting stuff and made it a procedural though.

I suspect if they hadn't 'made it a procedural' it would either not have been made at all, or stuck in a slot where it would not have garnered much of an audience. I am enjoying it.
