I first saw him in "Obsessed", which was made in 2009. He looked quite young, very handsome.
That was only 6 years ago. He was rather buff & *big*

I don't mind the gray, it doesn't take away from anything. I guess maybe I don't see age - older guys are ok with me! I actually like that he's becoming a silver fox!
In my opinion he is like a fine wine that gets better with time. Plus he had to get in shape and lose weight for movies roles. He also has a perfect body for any age.

The directing and make up sabotaged Long Walk To Freedom but Idris was totally convincing as a young virile Nelson Mandela. It is one of the best performances of the decade, unjustly overlooked at awards season. If From Here To Eternity were remade today IE would be a natural fit for Sergeant Warden - in a mixed affair.

I agree. He is excellent at his craft and people need to stop focusing on age or looks and respect that he is great at his work. Sadly it appears people are too superficial.
