Gone Are The Good Old Days I Guess...

Back when movie stars had a certain distinct look, a superb ability to act and make you want to listen. Yes we have Daniel Day Lewis, Gary Oldman and a few other excellent talents out there but the pool is getting watered down with nepotism, cronieism and so on, to the point that some wooden one dimensional hack like Jessie Eisenberg is getting a ludicrous amount of prime roles while many other highly talented actors are waiting to make it or blacklisted because they don't have a well placed friend or aren't a member of a certain ethnicity. Now we have Jessie Eisenturd, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Seth Rogen and other bland, one dimensional snoozefests headlining otherwise promising films. And Hollywood wonders why ticket sales have been in decline for over a decade. And to top it off this hack apparently doesn't even realize how amazingly lucky he is to have the life he does with his non existant skills as he routinely snubs his tween fans and has a general entitled attitude.

you can make this assessment more reliable if you avoid using so many foul languages.

Anyway, following your logic, if jesse does have a well placed friend or a member of certain ethnicity so that he's getting prime roles, I believe his sister would have the same career as he is now. She would be cast as Wonder Wowan or to a lesser degree Lois Lane, no? 

I'm fairly certain eltigrelacommander is Jesse Eisenberg's sister or mother.

You hit the nail on the head!!!! Watching movies these days makes me feel old,...I'm seeing more and more of my favourite actors being pushed into co staring roles while the staring roles are thrown at the names you have listed above,...or to some up and coming TV actor who's having his 15 minutes on the big screen.

It just goes to show that all Hollywood cares about is the flavour of the week!, gone are the good old days indeed. All of these guys have no actual acting talent. Sure they're good in comedies,..but most of them simply play an enlarged version of themselves, ( Seth rogan, Michael cera, jack black) ect,....sure theyre fun to watch, but they have no range, you never see them showing any real serious emotion. Just the same characters over and over, t hey, if Hollywood makes money from it, then they don't care,...to them, they're selling a product, not art. And sadly the product sells.

I agree with you about all the actors u mentioned except Jack Black. He's not only done comedies but dramas as well. He does have range. When he has to play it serious, he does.

I love Jack Black. He doesn't take himself too seriously and he isn't just an actor. The dude can sing, can play the guitar, and is extremely laid back. Seth Rogen does mostly comedies that I enjoy. What I don't enjoy is when someone takes themselves as an actor and gives the same one note performance in every movie. Which brings me to why Jesse Eisenberg has zero range and should be praying to whatever deity he believes in that he has a career.
