I guess I just think Jesse acts the same in every movie he's in. Like, he's almost playing himself, but with a twist for each specific role (ex. Jessie Eisenberg wears a wig and goes by the name Lex Luthor or Jessie Eisenberg changes the color of his Hoodie and is now Mark Zuckerberg, Jesse wears a tshirt and works at Adventureland). None of his mannerisms change. There is no difference in the inflection, speed or tone of his voice. He's always the token spaz.

I don't hate him, I don't particularly like him. He's like the equivalent of an almost (but not quite) stale endpiece of bread.

I totally agree. A whiney loser who always looks for love in every movie. Talks, jibber jabber and stutters way too much. Just like that dude Adam Goldberg.
