Hooray for unsubstantiated claims! 

Since I don't care for Eisenberg (he's lost all the goodwill he generated from his brilliant work in The Social Network and Roger Dodger as far as I'm concerned, thanks to his Comic Con equals genocide comments and his terrible-looking performance as Lex Luthor), I was willing to believe this article. But this does sound like unsubstantiated tittle-tattle to be honest. And the writer can't even get basic facts right. 'Now You See Me' was far from a flop; in fact it was a sleeper box-office hit, despite mixed reviews, and is all set to get a sequel.

The comment was for American Ultra, not Now You See Me. Although Now You See Me wasn't successful because of Jesse Eisenberg. Also he is making another film with Kristen Stewart? Barf, will never watch.

I think there's a reference to Now You See Me not being a success in the article, which is of course incorrect, but you're right about American Ultra, which sounded and looks terrible, being a flop.

You have a poor memory, this is the line. "when he was promoting The End of the Tour and American Ultra (which bombed at the box office)." - The only mention of Now You See Me is when he put a ditsy interviewer in check which actually made me like him more.
