His Career Is Doing Better than Michael Cera

It seems like ages ago where they were both up and-coming actors to the mainstream scene, and back then when Michael Cera was more well known and people considered Jeese Eisenberg to be his "clone/look-a-like" and the comparisons would come about.
But since The Social Network's success in 2010, and Michael's Cera Scott Pilgrim flopping, Jesse's career has taken off and gotten better while Cera is pretty much done from Hollywood.

Scott pilgrim is a masterpiece

That's a shame. Michael Cera is likable and funny. Eisendouche needs to get his ass whomped then *beep* off from movies forever.

I'm a fan of both but Jesse is a much better actor and does all sorts of roles while Michael usually sticks to the same awkward high school characters and I suppose he's getting too old for that now. I'd like to see him make some sort of comeback though.

Scott Pilgrim is an amazing movie by the way and it's a shame it wasn't more successful.

Cera is known for comedy while Eisenberg is an established actor in the American indie market. It's harder for actors known for the funnies to cross over to more "serious" work. With saying this, I think Cera has more potential as an actor - a higher ceiling really - than Eisenberg despite Eisenberg have the much better reputation.

Jesse Eisenberg got wonderful reviews from the beginning both in comedies (like Zombieland 2007) and drama movies (like The Squid and the Whale 2005). He can do both very well.

I don't get Jesse Eisenberg. Michael Cera is way more likeable.

You must be smoking and/or under 18. Cera sucks. Always has and he's annoying, playing the same shy teenager in all his movies. Eisenberg is only slightly better cuz even though all his roles are the same where he talks like he drank 6 cans of red bull before each take, he does more mature and diverse roles at least. Overall they both suck. Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, John Krasinski, and Jon Heder all suck too.

At least it works for guys like Seth Rogen for example who always plays that foulmouthed immature loser type for some reason.
