Very sad news that Aron Eisenberg has passed away at the age of 50. DS9 was one of my favourite series in the franchise and Nog was a memorable character.

I had just finished my sixth or seventh rewatch of the show a few months ago, and saw the DS9 Documentary just a few weeks ago, and I had really noticed the Nog episodes this time, he played the character like no one else could.

The interesting thing is that the DS9 documentary, among other things, features a ‘Season 8’ storyboard in which Nog dies. Painting a picture in which the death of Nog reunites the entire former cast, which returns to the station to unravel a mystery and conspiracy.

Sorry to hear that. He was a cool character. I especially liked his friendship with Jake Sisko and how the two boys would sit on the promenade and look down over all the people down below. They'd talk and share their dreams.
