He's a nice guy to his fans

My sister got me hooked on The Unit. She's hooked on him, and told me that he was willing to meet up with a bunch of his fans who were going to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to participate in a walkathon for autism and walk with them. I wanted to get his autograph for her. I found him with the group of fans just having finished the walkathon. They were taking pictures and all were very kind and generous to let me join them for photos. He not only was willing to pose with me for a photo, but wrote a note to my sister on a t-shirt and signed it. I beleive he also took his fans to breakfast before the walkathon, then took them to lunch after. A guy like that deserves all good things.

I remember you! :)

We all went out for breakfast beforehand and then lunch afterwards. Max was there with us. His generosity with his time to his fans, and that includes you, was awesome. I was not surprised by his kindness to you. From what I know of Max, that is just like him.

Did your sister like the T-shirt?

Hey Roo,

Where is the MackDaddy news these days? I couldn't tell when I last checked the message boards where the maxmartini.com crew had landed for real. My LJ is languishing freckleless!

Help! :-P

Well, we were hanging out at www.teammackdaddy.com until some dirtbag hijacked the site. The admin removed the forum, but the other features are still alive and kicking.

Max worked on the film "Redbelt" during the hiatus of The Unit. He plays the part of Joe Ryan. Cant find much about it on the web. The Unit is back in production full time now. So all I haveta say is...IT'S ABOUT TIME MAN! :)

A new Unit HQ fan site will be going up soon.
