why did she get fired?

Test viewers didn't warm up to her character so in episode 2 they created a new character that Maggie Lawson will portray.

Wow, I really liked her. I thought her subdued presence complemented the crazy antics of the lead. You have to have a straight man in order for the comedian to be successful. I was going nuts trying to figure out who she was. It looked like they were crediting her as Maggi Lawson.

that's kinda crazy that she got canned. i was distracted while watching psyche because they were missing a cast member.

Bizarre... I thought she was very good. A 'kneejerk' change like this doesn't bode well for the show.

If I were a betting man, I would wager that it wasn't as much her as an actor or character that turned test audiences off, but rather her character's relationship with Lassiter that they did not like.
