I've seen her come off as somewhat of a bitch in some interviews before. She can be pretty dry and sarcastic...I don't know if she really means anything behind it (maybe it's intended, maybe it's not), but at times it borders on condescending.

I think it's probably just her humor not coming across well, like someone above said. I speak from exerience when I say that a lot of people can misinterpret a dry sense of humor.
