Bones is in it's 6th season, so 6 years and there is supposed to be a 7th season too apparantly. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone doesn't. It obviously gets good enough ratings to keep it going. It's based loosely on the books of Kathy Reichs (who also write about Temperence Brennan but there are lots of differences). What has singing in a karaoke bar got to do with being "socially inept"? I would have though that was more about having confidence in yourself, and Brennan certainly has confidence in herself. If you followed the show from the beginning you would see why she is how she is (being abandoned by her family when she was younger etc etc). And what, "socially inept" people aren't allowed to know how to dress nicely? They rarely do serial killers - from memory there have been only three in 6 seasons (Epps, Gravedigger and Gormogon), usually the killers are not serial killers, and gee like other shows don't have *beep* loads more serial offenders (ie Law & Order SVU). They have had actually NO killers (serial or otherwise) in their own office (Zach didn't actually kill anyone - he admits it to Sweets in season 4 and I think that storyline turned out badly because of the writers strike that was on at the end of that season). There have been two killers working at the Jeffersonian, but not from their office (one is season 1 and one in season 5). Only one serial killer from the US Attorney's office - Taffet (the gravedigger), so I'm not sure what your arguement is there. It's not like they have so many killers from the Jeffersonian (let alone the teams office) or the US attorney's office.
Lastly, wtf does all the stuff you just wrote have to do with the topic title about Emily being a good actress?
