The annual happy birthday message to roxanne is probably never read by her but we , her fans , do remember and we gather on this date.
even tho this is not historically the happiest of dates , if you know what i mean.
i was looking at the listing of celebrities who were born on this date , and there are nearly 800 of them , and roxanne is in with quite a glorious group such as lola falana , amy madigan ( the mother from field of dreams), virginia madsen (always a hottie), the late coach for the football team of the university of alabama paul "bear" bryant , former coach of the dallas cowboys tom landry , and the founder of NFL films ed sabol.
but roxanne continues to be arguably the most famous of all those born on this date.
