She should have won the first two times that she was nominated for Oscars...but lost to Penelope Cruz doing a stereotypical fiery Spanish woman and then Meryl Streep doing another one of her impersonations. Hopefully this time the Academy will get it right.

Also, it's not true that she only gained attention with "Doubt." She won a Tony award back in 2002 and had small, but memorable performances in films like "Out of Sight," "Traffic" and "Antwone Fisher."
