it doesnt make sense, i heard she didnt want to play Cameron Diaz ugly sister but the wonderful Toni Collete said yes instead what a fool she is then she goes and stars in the crap that is Garfield.

shareProbably two reasons:
(1) Garfield is not as well-known in the UK as in the US, so her perception of the project's quality is probably different from ours.
(2) Billy Connolly, who has gotten quite a reputation as a serious actor in the US and UK - especially the latter - is signed on for Garfield 2.
So I'm guessing that in her mind she joined up for a "big-budget Billy Connolly project" not a lame cartoon cat movie.
I say this in the nicest way :b but all the british actors are becoming sell-outs.Martin Freeman,simon pegg ETC it is good though maybe every single film will not be 100% american which I am getting a bit sick of.
