Time Tunnel, Tj Hooker, Deep Space Nine, multiple movies , singing career and still going strong.

It seems like he got typecast with Gidget and then got stuck doing tv. What great movie roles did he have?

I didn't say great movies. Though he appeared in a couple.(Gun of Navarone) I'm saying overall he remained busy with roles and singing.

Yeah. If you're an actor and you can make a good living at it, tv is just as good movies.
