I had no idea he could act like this. He was heartbreaking. Absolutely perfect. The foundation of the film. Bravo Paul.

Are you kidding me? He's the cream of the latest crop, and everyone in the industry knows it. Nobody gets the lead in the most-expensive-ever BBC miniseries by accident, especially being an American. I'm just catching up on his filmography, but I knew he was brilliant the moment I laid eyes on him in "There Will Be Blood". Left DDL in the dust, imho.

I had somehow only seen him in a couple light hearted films, the first being Ruby Sparks which is a great movie but not the dramatic setting that would show his true range. I only saw TWBB once quite a long time ago and didn't put them together, I have to rewatch it now! Was it the most expensive? Wow. Well it turned out gorgeous.

He plays a great villain. Definitely check him out in TWBB.
