Do you think he regrets having himself credited as Badgett Dale?

in Lord of the Flies and as Badge Dale on Law & Order SVU because now he goes by James Badge Dale?

Nothing new. Joaquin Pheonix, when he was younger, went with the name Leaf Pheonix, because he wanted to have an earthy name like his sibblings, River and Rain. Another childhood actor in movies like Dutch and A Far Off Place went under the name Ehtan Randall, and then later on when he started to break off into early 20 roles, he went by the name of Ehthan Embry. Both actors are working just fine today.

Badgett is his middle name and almost everyone calls him Badge, so I don't know why he would regret it.
