Hopefully we'll see him soon. I think that Ben paid Penny a visit and Desmond beat the crap outta him. That's why Benny was all beaten and bloody in the 316 episode. Just my guess

I hope we see Desmond before his ship inevitable crashes back on Crap-Hole Island. I think he's the only full cast member with only about an hour's worth of screen time this season. Disappointing as I miss his character..and hair...and body...
