Hey, I just wanted to say how nice of a guy Michael is. I had the opportunity to meet him and speak with him, and he is a very nice guy, with a great sense of humor too.

shareHe is a very awesome guy, extremely nice. I was able to speak to him probably three or four times, as he and two of the other Band of Brothers actors, along with the Vets, were near where I am.
The first time is actually sort of -- well, very funny -- we were at a signing, and my Dad had a camera, and he said "Sit in his lap." I kept saying, "No, no.." Then Michael, along with the other two, said "Come on, come on" So, I sat down on his lap while my father took a picture. (ironic side note: the pic turned out fuzzy! *crying* )
I was turning about five shades of red I think, but he was very nice. They remembered me the next day we saw them, too. One of the others, Richard, said, "You're the one that sat in our laps!" *laughs* Technically, just Michael's lap, but whatever...
Bottom line, yes, he is a very awesome guy. They all were. And the Vets were just incredible guys.

shareI'm a big fan. I've always gotten the impression that he is a good guy. It's nice to see that sometimes the image matches how the celebrity really acts.
