shareI'm going to say Craig by a nose over Connery, which I know some will say is heresy. Brosnan was a little too much of an obvious choice, if that makes sense, and I never bought him as a tough guy. He was also, unfortunately, saddled with mostly pedestrian, by-the- numbers scripts. Craig has made two great Bond films and two so-so ones, and thus gets the nod.
shareVery well put. Agree on every point.
shareMy favorite was roger Moore. I think I'm the only person who thinks so. Maybe because they were the first bond films I remember watching.
shareDaniel Craig because he imparts a roughness the other Bond actors didn't and provides insights into the character not previously seen.

Ditto. Moore was the Bond I grew up with too. To me, when I think of Bond, Moore pops to mind first. While they weren't serious movies like the craig films, they were practically comedies. They were very entertaining. Moonraker, for instance. Silly script, bad acting, terrible special effects(even for the time). Yet it's still highly entertaining. though it has more in common with Austin Powers than previous Bond films.
One of my favorite bond films is OHM Secret Service.
Same here, when I was a teenager, Moore was Bond, Connery was the boring old one, Dalton was the one I never got a chance to see and I didn't know who the hell Lazemby was.
So I guess it's Moore, Craig, Connery, Brosnan, Dalton, Lazemby in that order.
"You keep him in here, and make sure HE doesn't leave!"
