Justin Kurzel spoiled something about Marion's character in AC

In the today's Russian live chat, on which there were also Marion and Michael, Justin Kurzel said that (CAUTION, HUUUGE SPOILERS ABOUT THE ENDING!)

At the end of the film she starts to act differently and there is a twist with her, as she is revealed to be the new leader of modern-day Templars, and her jouney is pretty much far from an end and supposed to be continued in the next chapter where she will confront Callum. The film ends with a cliffhanger involving her.

Nolan, I love you forever!

He really gave away the movie like that? Is he insane? He basically revealed the true plot and who's the villain! He can't be that irresponsible.

Not really surprised if that's true because that's how Marion is seen in Hollywood: a femme fatale. I always kenw she would play another Miranda/Talia in this

HUGE SPOILERS ABOUT THE ASSASSIN'S CREED MOVIE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK :P

According to Italian magazine "Best Movie", during an interview with Justin Kurzel, the director of the movie, while discussing Marion Cotillard's character (Sophia Rikkin) stated:

"She's an Assassin too, she will find out throughout the story and the relationship between her and Michael will be essential. I can't say more than that."

I've seen it too, but on the Russian chat he said quite the opposite!..

maybe the cliffhanger at the end is when becoming the head of templar after her father she discover that she is in reality an assassin descendant(adopted/kidnapped by rikkin when she was baby ...).

I start again to extrapolate, the better it's to see the film ^^

Maybe it's both. Maybe she just inherits her Templar rank after her father dies, and at the same time she discovers her Assassin lineage.

If so, that explains what Kurzel said about her exploring her ancestors history she just found out about (in the sequel).

But he also said that she will confront Callum in the sequel. Which means she will be a Templar.

You don't know the whole story. She could be the villain now and by the end of the franchise she's actually an assassin. But this whole thing is really weird. First you say Kurzel said she was a Templar, then someone else come and say Kurzel told another thing, basically the opposite...you two are either wrong, one is wrong or Marion will play both sides somehow.
