He looks awesome for the part! I cannot wait for Game of Thrones to kick off! Everyone cast so far has been exactly what I imagined! (well other than Theon, but if they think hes the guy, then hes the guy)
I hope that HBO picks this series up, can't imagine why they wouldn't, and I cannot wait to watch this series on TV!!!

I really don't know if he can mimic the Lannister character... Jaime is a man of indoubitable charm and skill but that had always been conflicted within himself this becomes more evident after he looses his sword hand.. I hope Landau make it possible

It's funny seeing a whole thread before Game of Thrones even aired!
He's easily the perfect Jaime Lannister and I'm sure all the posters here can attest to that after all these years.
He is perfect however I think Josh Holloway would have been beyond perfect as Jaime Lannister (minus that accent)
