Thought he was unusually handsome

The profile pic doesn't really capture him at his best. Hair is rather rough and his brow is furrowed.
Sure he had a great build -lean, tall and strong, but that's not what I'm thinking of.
His eyes were unusual. Sometimes I want to say Asian, but that's not it. And I wouldn't say "beady" because that's a pejorative, but they are narrow in the vertical plane and somehow still handsome.
Then the rest of his face seems almost sculpted, with great cheekbones and a chin like granite, but also with a great smile that would relax and invite you in. Almost as handsome as Redford, but no one seems to talk about Connors as being such a handsome guy.
I always wondered - why is this guy so good looking? Most people don't look anything like him, including other actors.

I agree with you, Snepts, and when I watch The Rifleman, I think it's so strange that when he walks down the street, nobody looks at him twice....no heads swivel, no eyes flutter, nobody reacts at all ! No one looks at him any differently than they look at Micah ! How unrealistic is that ? ! ?

kinda lean for me. Pretty sad when I find Burl Ives more attractive than Chuck.

He was especially good-looking in the color episodes of Branded with his thick, wavey blond mane and long sideburns.
