Obama was by far a bigger fake. A completely crafted mythical candidate. Like Kerry and Clinton the media carried him to the finish line. He was never challenged by the media. He had zero useful experience. Almost no political experience. And up til 9mo before the 2008 election he was a complete unknown.
There’s a famous conversation between NBC media titans Brian Williams and Tom Brokaw, discussing Obama just a month before the election. And how we knew absolutely nothing about him. Of course they still supported him because that’s the left.
Never in US history has their been a bigger farce. A bigger cult of personality.
I would say the media accidentally carried Trump BY challenging him every day. If they had ignored him from the beginning, like they more or less did in 2012 (with the exception of Lawrence O'Donnell, who's obsessed with Trump), someone else from the Republican party would have gotten the nomination.
