Book: Clinton blasts Bernie Sanders for inspiring 'Crooked Hillary' attacks

It's not Trump's Russian pals and NAZI supporters that cost Hillary the election, it's Bernie and his Commie Bros!

Her new book "What Happened” is out in a week, but the good bits have been leaked by her fan club. First reported by CNN, but I'll link to a reputable news site.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/09/05/hillary-blasts-bernie-sanders-for-inspiring-crooked-hillary-attacks.html

In the book, the former Democratic presidential nominee compared Sanders to the “deranged hitchhiker” in the 1998 Ben Stiller movie “There’s Something About Mary.”

She also accused some of Sanders’ supporters – “the so-called Bernie Bros” – of harassing her supporters online and being “more than a little sexist.”

“I don’t know if that bothered Bernie or not,” Clinton writes. “He certainly shared my horror at the thought of Donald Trump becoming president, and I appreciated that he campaigned for me in the general election. But he isn’t a Democrat—that’s not a smear, that’s what he says. He didn’t get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party.”

She added, “I am proud to be a Democrat and I wish Bernie were, too.”

Box of Kleenex sent. Boo-hoo.

Hillary is mourning the fact that she lost the 2016 election. The more she digs into it the more frustrated she becomes. She can write books forever but she cannot accept that fact. But hey, she was co-president with Bill!

reply

She can write books forever but she cannot accept that fact.

I hear the Dems are upset with her for "picking at the scab." The more she talks, the more pathetic and deranged she sounds.

She just demeans herself. If she had any class at all, she'd just shut up and move on -- or just go away.

reply

Absolutely. I'm surprised that her family and friends don't convince her to let it pass and move on. They are doing her a disservice. If they are advising her and she ignores them it's even more pathetic.

reply

Let's not kid ourselves. Hillary is not taking counsel from anybody. Also, just like Frankenstein's Monster from the 1930's movies once she realizes that she is not seriously injured the rampage resumes. It's more than Republican rhetoric when thinking about her knowing where all the bodies are buried in Washington DC. This woman is not going away despite the previous claims saying that she will.

reply

I'm afraid you are right, which makes me wonder if she is right in the head. Why would anyone keep chasing something that is out of reach?

reply

Hillary is mourning the fact that she lost the 2016 election.

But she won the vote, and lost the election. That's what happens when the will of the people is merely a suggestion, and votes do not directly elect a President like they would in a true democracy.

The electoral college, which is an outdated institution built for the layout of the U.S. in its infancy, is a system that literally punishes people for living in populated areas by devaluing their individual votes, and artificially inflates the votes of rural people. This is why Republicans love the electoral college system.

They defend it by saying stuff like "we can't have L.A. and New York deciding elections," treating two huge cities like they were two people instead of what they are: Densely populated areas with millions of individual voters.

Rural voters are more likely to be out of touch with general society (I used to live in a rural area and grew up in one), while people living in populated areas have more direct contact with a wider range of people and needs. Thus, inflating the vote value of isolated people whose beliefs are rarely challenged, that is just plain idiotic.

Inflating anyone's vote value is idiotic enough in today's world.

reply

I don't recall the Democrats complaining about the electoral college in 1992,1996, 2008, or 2012. It's not as simple as a NY and LA determining the election argument but most people are not complex enough to articulate that. It's really the same vision the Founding Fathers had as they did not want one block of voter determining the election. Instead of industrial areas having unfair advantages it is urban low income areas today.

With the advent of of the electronic age I don't believe that rural areas are overly ignorant today. Dumb people who believe in racism exist all over the globe. When Imperial Japan moved to take over Eastern Asia during the 1930's and early 1940's the local populations across Eastern Asia found the Japanese more suffocating than the Europeans when Japanese intentions were implemented. That elitism/ racism today is probably no more muted today than it is in the US. Just not as much of a spot light shone on it as other events take center stage.

I mean smart people voted for Hilary. Only idiots fell for Trump and his bs lies. Bernie was insane was was making promises he could not keep. Hilary was the only sane choice. She was too smart for this country. Why no one could relate to her.

Reminds me of The current PM of Canada. In school he was reasonable and talked about politics that way. He lost the vote to a bunch of dumb kids that wanted everything now. You can search the video on yt. USA is a democracy. Majority wins. Majority of people are stupid, so stupidity wins.

Remember in school when people would promise sh!t that they had no pull over. Food served in the cafeteria, for example. Class president, much like the real presidential race is a popularity contest. Look at California Arnold won EVEN tho was was a R. CA is a blue state, no question.

And Trump, boy did he insult her over and over. SO DID BERNIE. So I read this and just am yeah sounds about right.

Sorta reminds me of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991). Where the Klingons were about to make peace with the Federation. But spoiler alert, some were not ready so they conspired to stop the peace. USA was NOT ready for Hilary sadly. And they effed themselves up.

Now we have Trump heading us to WW3 headfirst. Reminds me of a dateline show, a mentally handicapped, mental capacity of a 9 yo, 20 yo guy, molested, raped, and killed a 10 yo girl. But no one suspected him. He held not one, not two, but THREE part time jobs! Yet Hilary that is ivy league educated, with a long list of qualifications, AND won the pop vote can't become president!

Even sadder people are STILL making fun of her. When she ran for the dem nominee in 08, people would COME to her rallies and hold up 'iron my shirt' signs. Yeah no sexism at all. Yeah sexism is all in the past. Nope this country is BEHIND. How sad. All well enjoy your destroyer in chief of all your liberties.

Seeing as you misspelled "Hilary" (it's Hillary) you must have been one of the dumb guys who voted for Trump?

I don't see where Hillary really demonstrated any intellect. She has been spouting the same globalist message that other politicians have been braying for the last 25 plus years. She could have set herself apart by attempting to discuss basic economics but did not. My belief is the velocity of money approach to maintaining an economy is played out as inflation wins in the long run. No politician whatsoever addressed this.

A conflict with North Korea is inevitable and if you understood human nature or were jacked up against a wall in grade school you would understand this. Lil Kim has never had any push back during his life so any idea that pops into his mind is golden in his view. You can't reason with a person who thinks that way.

No doubt some sexism was present in not favoring Hillary over other candidates but her apparent lack of ethics concerned most voters. If she were intellectually polished she would not have made flubs such as saying she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary who accomplished his feat after Clinton was born.

reply

Oh so you are an internet troll. Who can't defeat my argument so you try to attack my spelling.

The rest of your comment is speculation on your part.

Not responding any further to you troll.

reply

Not just your spelling, grammer too. Second last paragraph is all over the place.

reply

I'm guessing that a troll in your mind is simply somebody who does not share your vision. Since you plan on never responding to me I guess I will never know. By the way I'm not sure of what some of your arguments are. An Ivy league education does not always prove a lot when it comes to the real world. It just means you can absorb written and oral material. Then upon command that you can recall it. Get back to me when Hillary enters a tangible career path such as becoming a physician.

Except that the DNC admitted to rigging the primaries. They feel it's within their right to do so. People have a reaosn to be a little upset about that.
