Horrible actor

Ruined star wars

Yes, obviously.

You're both idiots...

Ever see him in the movie, "Life as a House"? Hayden co-stared with Kevin Kline and was wonderful. A lot more goes into movies which can make good actors look struggling. Like scripts, wish is my understanding of the major issue with the prequels.

reply

I saw him in Vanishing on 7th Street and thought he did a great job-- so I disagree, the guy can act. If blame should go anywhere, it should probably be addressed to whomever lives at Skywalker Ranch... Gee, what's that guy's name...
But no, give the guy a break, he's actually pretty good. And if he shows up in any of the new SW films or spinoffs, I'm game to see him be Vader again, without the thumb of Lucas' ham fist pressing down on his performance. Cheers mate.

I agree with the person who stated the thread; he is a terrible actor. I can usually spot a good actor v. bad actor. If you want to see a good actor, watch Harrison Ford. The only reason why I own the prequels, is because I thought Ewan MacGregor and Natalie Portman did a great job in them.

reply

If you think that Portman did a great job in prequels than I doubt that you can spot a good performance. I like prequels but she was not great, not by a long shot.

reply

Out of the newer actors she did a O.K. job. I never said she was outstanding, in fact I can't stand her other films. I said I only own the prequels because Ewan MacGregor and Natalie Portman kept my interest in the films. In fact I thought the prequel were the worst of the Franchise. I never said I was a talent agent, but in order for a film to be successful good actors help.

I disagree. I think Hayden did better job, his character was definitely more complex.
