Ricardo Antonio Chavira has lost so much weight. In the previous 6 seasons of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, he was chubby and he had a moustache and stubble around his mouth and chin.
Now he is slim AND shaved!!
I almost didn't recognize him as the character Carlos in Desperate Housewives!
His voice and actions seem a little different too!

I think he looks great! Although I didn't recognise him for the first few minutes. He actually looks younger now.
I thought he looked good before anyway, I just find him pretty hot in general :)

He looks too typically American now. He reminds me of Oded Fehr, who also seemed far too Americanised in the 2nd and 3rd Resident evil movies (I liked Fehr best in the Mummy movies, playing an Egyptian, and also with a beard).
Bring back the typically Hispanic look! He was so much hotter that way. Sure, he needed to lose a bit of weight (I think he's lost TOO much) but losing the beard makes me sad. He was so hot with the beard, when it was full or even just a goatee. I didn't mind the bits of grey either which the makeup artists were putting in to account for the 5-year jump.
Watching him as a guest on Sunday Brunch (UK tv) at the moment, had no idea who he was - googled him and thought Google had got it wrong. He looks like a completely different person from the guy who was in Houswives, did not recognise him at all. I mean he wasn't overweight, but the difference from then and now is quite astonishing... and he looks younger than he did then!
