You people are so stupid. I was a hardcore DBZ fan before a long time ago. I am greatly anticipating this movie. Some of me is skeptical, but they can totally make this good if they try hard enough. Its looking much better than that HORRID Japanese movie from years ago as well.

Justin Chatwin IS right for Goku, he even looks like him, how can you guys be so close minded and mental? And who cares if the series is dead? Is there some rule that they cant make a movie? Why isn't that piece of *beep* Simpsons dead yet, im still waiting for that crap to keel over.

This was most likely done in live-action because the only movies that do well in CGI are crap pixar movies. No one would watch DragonBall if it was CGI except fans. People who dont even know what DragonBall is will see this movie though.

ha ya this film had the potential to be good but the crappy casting and certain changes to the story, has ruined any chance this film could of had of being good.

look i really don't need to pick apart all your comments for almost all of its retarded (probably much like the poster).

If your theory was right Toy Story, WALL-E, Cars, etc would have been flops but you know what they weren't, Movies like Shrek and other DreamWorks CG movies have sold very well too.

Dragonball should have been in CGI, the story wouldn't have to be verbatim, but then it could keep the style of the show. and it would be a hell of a lot better then this crappy ass cash in of a film.

Respectfully, I disagree. I'm a big fan of Dragonball Z not so much Dragonball and Dragonball GT but I thought this new movie would be bad, when I saw the bootleg trailer it followed my expectations and I didn't have a lot of hope for the movie. Then I saw the new trailer leaked a few days ago and I think it looks good enough, it needs a bit more work on the special effects but still I really wanna see it now and Chatwin looks good enough to play Goku.

Goku isn't a human being. He's an alien. Was he a good choice per say? No. But he was OK. The film itself wasn't very good so it didn't help anyway.
