Wonder if she has trouble dating??

Would knowing that she was Samara put some guys off? I mean that character was really horrific, not something you'd easily forget or be at ease around. Samara and that lady from The Grudge make Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, and Michael Myers look like creampuffs. You can't fight either of them off, and you can't escape them either, and they are just totally concentrated on hating you to death. Guys might be afraid to make Daveigh angry or to break up with her (poor dude would have seven days left to live). I mean the movies are fiction, but both The Ring and The Grudge were extremely unsettling. Would be funny if her boyfriend pissed her off, and she played a practical joke on him using special effects and makeup to simulate a Ring haunting.

Trouble dating because of a character she played??? Camerica1987 listen closely: It's called ACTING. She probably is nothing like the character! Normal guys understand that and most would LOVE to be able to date her. Now, it's time for little kids to get off the computer. Go let mommy tuck you into bed.

Why would anyone be scared to date her because she played Samara?

She was scary evil on Big Love too. She's good at playing villains apparently. She sang on BL, she's a decent singer as well.

From her filmography it looks like she works fairly steadily but will never really have a big career.
