Convention Appearance...

Deveigh was scheduled to appear at Monster Mania this weekend, but never showed. Which is a shame, because quite a few people were looking forward to meeting her.

Friday -
"Daveigh Chase missed her flight last night and we are still waiting to hear back from her management to find out when she is arriving."

Saturday -
"So the word on Daviegh Chase is that we have had no response from her management team at June Entertainment since yesterday afternoon. At that time the response was that they hadn't heard back from her. My travel agent and I have made repeated phone calls and emails throughout the day Friday but we've gotten no further response. Sorry to disappoint anyone but I think it's safe to say that she isn't coming."

Anyone know why? I hope she's okay, but to blow off a convention and make excuses (which is how it sounds, honestly) is kind of messed up. People go to these conventions, sometimes having a particular guest in mind that they want to meet, so she probably let down a lot of people. I can't say she was #1 on my list, but it seems from what I heard from other people, they were really wanting to meet her.

Seems June Entertainment will be going to court for not refunding the money that was sent for Daveigh to appear at Mnoster Mania. Which she never showed up.

"So it's off to court we go. Filing papers this week. June Entertainment hung up on me again today, which was my last attempt before giving Larry Zerner the go-ahead to file a lawsuit. Seems ridiculous to me that they refuse to return the money but at this point it's the principle of the situation."

That is pretty scummy to be honest. I do, however, think it's pretty dope that "Shellie" is the filing attorney here. :-D

This sounds bad. Any aspiring actress that blows off her fans is just plain stupid. Wonder what she spent the money on.
