Why isn't this guy a bigger star?

I don't understand, he was fantastic in FNL and was great in the small role in The Wall of Wool Street.

Why won't someone cast in him in a big juicy role? Bryan Cranston has made the transition from TV to films (I admit he's probably a better actor).

Will it ever happen?

Yeah, that will probably happen after the mainstream release of Manchester By The Sea (The awards season etc) He might have a good chance to get a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also has the last season of Bloodline left, after that the next you'll most likely see him, is in the movies.

As the title says.

I really like his screen presence. He has the it quality for a variety of roles and has not been fully utilized yet.

Been wondering the same for years. He could be the new Jeff Bridges if he wants to be!

I get that he's in it to work on interesting projects with writers and directors he admires and is happy if it's as a supporting player.

I look forward to his first lead film role. Hopefully something weighty but still funny and enjoyable.

Probably because he had a crappy agent lying to him and using the leads for his own business such as other clients
