Why did he leave Cold Case?

according to others on this board, he left because Justin wanted to pursue other roles and with the agreement of the show's producers and the network, he left. It is also said that it was a decision made by the producers/network to pair Lily with a more interesting character and actor..

I liked Justin on that show better than who they have now.

That show has gone downhill anyways.

I heard he left due to some illness. Valens was a MUCH better partner for Lil; this guy was a snooze (I think sleep apnea had something to do with him leaving the show).
