Henry Cavill has reportedly landed in another new franchise — and he already loves it.

Cavill, who famously donned the red cape and brought Superman to life on the big screen, and then helmed Netflix’s "The Witcher" franchise as Geralt of Rivia, will now star and produce an Amazon-led adaptation for "Warhammer 40,000," according to a report.

On Friday, Amazon confirmed it finalized negotiations and acquired the rights from Games Workshop (GAW) to produce a series based on the popular science-fiction tabletop and video game franchise.

"Warhammer 40,000 has captured the imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world," said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon and MGM Studios, in a statement to Fox News Digital. "We are excited to work with Henry, Vertigo Entertainment, and Games Workshop across our Amazon entertainment businesses on this brilliant, immersive franchise for our global customers to experience for years to come."

I don't see it working with Cavill as a Space Marine. Aren't they supposed to be over 8' feet tall. They need someone with a large, bulky head to pull that off or it'll look funny seeing an average head size guy with small features in giant Space Marine armor. Plus, it's Amazon. It's not going to be grim dark.

There are plenty of non-Space Marine roles. Awhile ago GW was trying to make an Eisenhorn TV show, Space Marines aren't even in those books.
