Why no award shows?

I'm curious. Why does Henry, who plays Superman, never attend award shows where the target audience is kids and young adults? I think he would definitely fly higher on everyone's radar if he actually interacted and appeared at stuff like this. He is playing Superman for crying out loud. BvS and Henry were nominated recently at the Teen Choice Awards. (Ben was too)

If he can show up at the Oscars, then he can go to these less significant award shows too. He may not get a goody bag with expensive gifts but he would make his young fans happy. I get when you can't due to working, but he isn't always working at the time. I know to some this may sound and seem childish, but again, he plays Superman. Who the hell does he think wants those life sized toys, and action figurines, and begs their mom for the cereal with the emblem on it, and the Superman pj's, and the halloween costume, etc....

I personally would love to see him get slimed 🙌😀

He HAS been to awards actually, but presently he's filming that takes up months at a time.

He's busy filming and in his off time he lives in London. That's a long flight for a couple hour award show.

Plus, I think it adds to his mysterious allure.

During the short time I've been following him, he seems to be defining his off screen image with his charities like Durrell and an endless parade of fan photos. This makes for quite a nice image.
