Worst Superman ever?

He got a Razzie nomination... Brandon Routh didn't get one, and he was once considered everyone's least favourite...

Personally, I blame Goyer's bland script. But what ya gonna do?

The Razzies would not know the difference between a bad movie and a bad performance. The movie was as good as it could of been but wasn't a bad performance by Henry. Razzies just nominate movies that will create the most buzz.

Clooney was not nominated either? Is Affleck worse then Clooney in Batman?Don't think so...

(And there will always be Wellin as Supes)

BR had it easy. He didn't have to follow the director. All he had to do was look like Christopher and mimic him. He did a very good job. lol

But I don’t think Superman Return was a bad film per se. I don’t recall thinking that it was full of unnecessary, nonsensical stuff. Although, I do recall being really bored and annoyed. I mean, watching an actor trying hard to mimic another actor can be really boring. Also, SM barely through a punch in the damn film. Hello! The film is a super hero, comic book adaptation. Pow! Bam! Where was all that? lol

But those were the boring parts. Now for the annoying part.

I liked it that they let SM have a kid out of wedlock. He’s not perfect. But you can’t let him use his powers to stalk, spy and try to break a happy home. That doesn’t make him a more "relatable" being; that makes him a douchebag.

Anyway, BvS was really an awful film. It was full of unnecessary, nonsensical stuff. And don’t get me started on the extended version.

Razzy may be a stupid award, but the film did awful on Rotten Tomatoes too. I hate critics, but could they all be wrong? I seriously doubt it. And when the Oscars think that a film is good, they will nominate it in all the categories. So why can’t Razzy do the same? Actually, all these awards are a hoax. lol

The Oscar committee is full of white, old men and they tend to focus on only drama, as if you don't need acting skills to play a role in another genre. Also, if you lose or gain tons of weight, that automatically increases your chances to be nominated. But that doesn't mean your acting skills are good. It means that you're very dedicated to resemble the character. All actors who play a super hero must have an awesome physique. That’s more difficult than simply losing or gaining weight. You must train like 2 hours or more a day and eat a strict diet to maintain that physique. But don’t expect the Oscars to notice them, because they are in an action/comic book adaptation.

Anyway, HC had an awful script and director to work with. He doesn’t have the star power to tell the producers he wants to change the script or tell the director that he wants to play the character this or that way. He’s not RDJ, who made Marvel changed CA:CW so he could have had a way bigger part in it. Heck, not even BA could tell those idiots to change things. Did you hear some of his dialogue? OMG, when he was flying the jet and telling Alfred that the weapon was in the city. Just awful!

Can't be the worst. Didn't get one for MoS.

Probably because BvS was garbage. Henry is a decent Superman. The best after Chris Reeve. Even though his acting skills are very limited. (Humphrey from Stardust, welp)..although all I wish he was a couple inches taller, since all other JL members apart from Ezra seems to be taller than him, while Supes is usually the biggest among JL.

I don't like Superman as a character, but I've always thought he is supposed to have at least some charisma. Cavill's portrayal of the character has zero charisma whatsoever.

He seems very awkward. He comes off as very bland and no personality in interviews!
