Is his hair real?

I was watching season one of the office and he had a receding hair line and a bald spot. If he had plugs done, they look pretty good. Anyone know for sure what he did?

Weird. Just rewatching season one of the office and came on here wondering the same thing!

His hair is incredibly thin on top and he has that patch at the back. I was also guessing that he surely must have had something done...
