George W. Bush released a statement, saying for himself and his siblings, "Jeb, Neil, Marvin, Doro, and I are saddened to announce that after 94 remarkable years, our dear Dad has died."

"George H.W. Bush was a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for," he said. "The entire Bush family is deeply grateful for 41's life and love, for the compassion of those who have cared and prayed for Dad, and for the condolences of our friends and fellow citizens."

There were fears that after his wife, Barbara, died in April, Bush might die, too. He was admitted to the hospital with a blood infection on April 23, one day after the funeral for the former first lady, and remained there for 13 days. He also spent time in the hospital in May and June, but lived to be the first former president to reach the age of 94.

The senior Bush had a lifetime of public service before he became president — as a young Navy pilot in World War II, Texas congressman, CIA director and faithful vice president to Ronald Reagan.

Bush's most notable accomplishments in the White House came in the area of foreign policy. While Reagan is often credited with winning the Cold War, it was Bush who successfully navigated the aftermath. His low-key approach avoided inflaming communist hard-liners and allowed for the peaceful breakup of the Soviet Union.

Yep, RIP at the age of 94. How was he and what has he done though? Was he hated? Was he liked? He was only a 1 term president. I wasn't really interested in politics until 9/11 but only really got into it after Trump took the reins since it's all the news ever talks about.

The Bush family based their empire on the brilliant notion that you can cause a war and profit from it by funding both sides. They funded the Nazis. All the Jewish groups like the ADL instantly forgave them of course. These are the same groups who excommunicate you for life if you so much as point out that Hollywood is dominated by Jews. But you can fund the Nazis all you like.

HW Bush himself started the war on drugs while he was running the CIA and producing those drugs.

In the 1980 Republican presidential primary, Bush and Regan ran against each other, on opposite platforms. Regan won handily. Then the Deep State asked Regan to pick Bush as his running mate. Regan said absolutely not, that he would never allow a man like Bush anywhere near his team. Then the Deep State took him into the smoke filled backroom for one of their secret meetings. As soon as the meeting was over, Regan announced Bush would be his running mate. A few days later Regan was elected. A few days after that Regan was shot in the head, by John Hinckley Junior, a longtime friend of the Bush family. Regan survived, but clearly had brain damage. Bush was kind of a usurper president and ran the Iran Contra scheme.

The liberal coastal elite Bush family is everything wrong with this country.

If you like Reagan, you should hate Bush. When Bush took over, he eliminated all the Regan holdovers who had initially supported Reagan over Bush. Transformed conservatism into neoconservatism.
