Totally! His comedic acting rocks, right down to those physical expressions and vocal inflections. He's got excellent timing. That is not easy in comedy.

He's brilliant alright. There should/must be a web page or fan site that features all his quotes from the show. All guaranteed a laugh when Phil's on screen. But he's a great actor too, its not just the lines he has the whole "eager dad" character down to a tee. And yes him and Gloria make for gold.

I wasn't that impressed him him in Back To You, but think he's hysterial in Modern Family, so I guess it was a weaker material holding all the actors back on his previous shows like Back To You and Out Of Practice.

An amazing comedian with impeccable timing!!!!Well I only watched two episodes of Back To You, but even though Ty semed like he was pretty good at physical comedy (like the scene where he got tasered) all I kept thinking was how this emsemble didn't click like the chracters did on Friaser.

Funny how two season later, Back To You's Kelsey, Ty and Patricia all returned to back-to-back shows on ABC.
