I always loved his humor but I'm really disappointed at all the people today who don't even know who he was.

Me too. Been watching YouTube clips of him on Carson tonight. What a life he had.

I love all the old comedians. Jack Benny with his Pauses. Bob Newhart and his one sided phone conversations. Brilliant ! We only hear his side. We have to imagine what the other person might be saying. And it's hilarious.

Oh God! That's what I think of first.

Maybe not his best role? But it was his defining role.

I'm gonna have to watch that first one with John Denver again sometime soon.
