He was the best reason for watching OC; he has the kind of gift where he can make simple dialogue seem multi-layered. To me that's the mark of a really excellent actor, it takes more talent than speaking great dialogue effectively.

i truly believe that too,he is great with dialouges,another thing is that he can make a very small role the best part of movie ,example,tyfs,jennifer's body,cop out,death in love,i mean you have to be a really great actor to make this happen,anyone can make a impact with a lead role,but getting noticed for a cameo needs some real talent and great screen presence.seth was the best part of the oc for me too.i am really looking forward to damsels in distress long with all the other films he will be part of 2011.damsels will help him to prove himself as a leading man for sure.

season 1of OC Seth was definitely the best character. He got very annoyingly selfish after that...and being the best thing about a late night soap does not make you the best actor of a generation.

i think lightninglad just shared his opinion,nothing wrong with that,btw you need to see adam in death in love ,smiley face, in the land of women,jennifer's body,cop out,tyfs,the romantics, to know about his talent.oc is not his only work.

I saw land of women, jennifer's body, cop out, thank you for not smoking, all of which he was fine in...while Adam has made me laugh a lot I'd say Phil Hartman, Norm McDonald, Jerry Seinfeld and quite a few others have better timing. I am also just sharing my opinion, which I believe can go unstated on an internet message board
Adam is in Scream 4 but his career has unquestionably quieted down since the OC was cancelled. I think he deserves more work than he's getting, but Best Actor of a Generation probably would be getting more than 2-3 minor roles a year

adam brody is playing the lead in new whit stillman movie "damsels in distress" i am sure this movie will change things a lot, you are right adam deserves lot more good roles than he get, i said it and will say it again adam has the best comic timing ever.
