In American Horror Story's first season, she looked old enough to play Dylan McDermott's mom instead of his wife. She looks haggard and leathery, so I'm baffled by her roles. That's not to say there aren't or shouldn't be roles for older women, but Connie Britton is playing roles for her age or younger when she looks 15+ years older than she actually is.

She looked amazing ! Gorgeous red hair, long legs, awesome cleavage, pretty face, and sexy feet. She even hula-hooped in her dress, and it was a pleasure to watch. There is NO WAY your wife is in her league. I'm only in my mid 30's and I would date this hot goddess in a second!
