lunch with bruce

I was so fortunate to listen to the whole interview on Sirius XM of Matt & Bruce Bozzi on the show "Lunch With Bruce". I hope all the Matt fans out there get to listen to this great interview. I think you need the Sirius XM app to download it. Thank God I kept my portable Sirius XM receiver! They conducted the interview at the Palm resturant in Beverly Hills.
It was fun to listen to the both of them talking to each other while ordering their salads. They covered everything from where Matt was born, to his high school and college years, living in New York during 9/11, how he got his breaks in his career, and his marriage and children with Simon.
Matt is such an unassuming wonderful man. I could listen or (if I had the chance to) chat with him all day!
Love the picture of both Bruce & Matt together!

I love these kinds of interviews. We get to listen in on a casual chat! It was great getting to know Matt's early college years. He's always been a thoughtful & sensitive person. I felt sad when he said he regretted being celibate in college. Reminded me of two guys in my program who everyone thought were asexual or mormons etc, one later came out as gay the other one is still single in his forties, dates women but rarely. I also loved when he said everyone should live in NY for a year! Great piece of advice that I will give to my kids.

It was funny listening to him munching on his salad while talking haha. I wish I was sitting across the table from him!

Btw does any know the Victor guy he said was his roommate in NY? I think I've heard that name before. Wasn't he in one of episodes of White Collar?

I should try the Palm restaurant some time. Hope it's in my budget lol!

BlackMickey, that pic is during his GG win right?

Matt's last radio interview for this network was uploaded on youtube, I might wait for that. My phone doesn't need another app!

Matt was pictured leaving Palm in June, interview recording day?

Also Bruce Bozzi is practically family. Bruce's partner is Bryan Lourd, Head of CAA (Matt' agency) and Simon's college roommate. Either Walker or Henry is named after Bryan too.

It sure looks like it.
I thought it was one of the best interviews I've heard of Matt; maybe its because, like Andrew said, Bruce & his partner Bryan Lourd have known Matt & Simon for many years and are like family. There was so many cool candid moments that Matt talked about that I have never heard before.

When I looked at the menu, boy did the food look delicious. If I want to eat like Henry VIII this would be the place! I want the salad Matt & Bruce were eating! The prices looked pretty much like any high end steak restaurants in the country. I think Bruce & Bryan own almost 30 Palm restaurants in the country, probably the most popular ones in Beverly Hills & Manhattan.

finally got a chance to listen to this. love it - I agree, it's got to be my favorite just because it's so revealing and warm and open, due to speaking to a friend who knows exactly things to ask and puts matt at ease. I loved hearing about college etc. but it was extra special to hear a glimpse about his wedding. I would love to have seen pics.

I thought it was so sweet when Bruce said he cried at the wedding. I'm sure it was beautiful! And like you said Virgo, I would love to see the wedding photos.

Ditto. They always seem so much in love.

Thanks for the menu! Looks so good. Let do it BlackMickey!! 

Yes that was so sweet. As Matt would say "Awww!". Can you imagine their vows? With both of them such good speakers!
Wasn't this around the time of "White Collar"? Wonder if he invited his cast & crew!

I'm so happy these two found each other! They always look so happy & in love.
