From ST to SST...what a downward spiral!!

I agree with a lot of people here...she has looks and talent...but she needs to fire her agent ASAP, and look for better roles in movies that are mainstream, even if they are small supporting roles!

Otherwise she'll just end up as another actor who has nothing but star trek to show for all of her life's work!

Maybe i sound like old news, but i just saw SST3, and what an awful movie!!? How did she go from T'Pol in Star Trek to whoever in SST3!!?

OUCH!!

Instead I think she had to chose better before star trek, but then she had been dated with Rapino now the husband and obviously her career was limited...now it's too late.

i agree, her choices since star trek, and maybe the jason and the argonauts movie have been awful. She is a hot woman and has talent, she needs to work on that talent in something decent and challenging. I do feel sorry for her and frankly she's got an uphill struggle ahead of her after starship troopers 3, by the gods that was awful.

unfortunately, her face is what is limiting her career in Hollywood now- she has done something to it.

direct to video stuff like Starship Troopers is probably the best she's going to get now!

She did do something to her face unfortunately, i dont know why, she was so attractive and did not need any work. I thought she was headed somewhere wen i saw her on Enterprise too. sigh.

I think part of it is going for the Jolie lips that look nasty. Popped in to see what she was doing recently and thought the same thing when I saw her pics. The profile pic is great but the ones where her lips look like flotation devices are horrible.

Agree on the lips, they keep catching my attention in a not so good a way. Too bad really.

i think its hilarious that people think that because of doing SST her career would be screwed.

She was never big to begin with, and she had barely been in anything before star trek. During and after ST:E, shes had a bunch of multi-episode parts in some decent shows (stargate SG-1, legend of the seeker, etc) and a bunch of guest spots on a bunch of other well-known shows.

If you look at anyone else's imdb resume after ST:E, you'll notice that few of the actor (even scott bakula!) barely have gotten any parts in anything since.

She just hasnt been trying for many parts it seems, and its also kinda hard for a woman to star in the type of show that she usually plays in. Women usually get stuck with the single-girl-in-a-big-city bs storyline, with some sort of twist. Its pretty rare that they get to star in a fantasy/sci-fi story that she does so well in. She just has one of those ass-kicking faces.
