I really like him and the person he plays on NCIS New Orleans.
His accent is spot on. That is how they speak in the Big Easy.
And he works well with the other cast.
I didn't at first was going to watch this show because of Scott Bakula. But I have to say, I am really getting into now.
Good show.
Lucas Black is great in the show
shareI like Lucas Black a lot. It's been cool watching him grow up in TV and film. He has talent, and charisma.
shareHis accent isn't a New Orleans accent it's a thick Alabama accent. I'm in Alabama & that's the way most guys sound around here unfortunately LOL.
shareIt's funny but I have yet to see an actor do a realistic New Orleans accent. Holly wood thinks it's a Georgia accent. Lucas is the closest thing they have.
Take someone from Alabama and give them sort of a New York twang and that's New Orleans. I tend to revert to it when talking to people from back home.
I remember for the longest time I was trying to figure out who his character was on NCIS because I grew up watching it but didn't know who his character was at all, only to realize he was on one of the spin-offs. That's the reason I didn't remember seeing him is because he was in the New Orleans version, although I saw the crossover episodes.
