It could make things harder for Trump, but it's still Trump's race to lose. It's very late in the race for the Democrats to switch horses. Kamala Harris is polling even lower than Dementia Joe, and she's as much of an imbecile as he is, she just doesn't have the senility factor working against her. If the Democrats pick anyone else over her, they'll be hoist on their own identity politics petard (you nominated Gavin Newsome, a wh... wh... white male over a woman of COLOR! REEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!) Also, if they pick anyone other than Kamala, they have to return all the campaign donations they've collected, and the donors will have to be persuaded to re-donate. And any prospective replacement will be stuck having to run with Biden's awful campaign team, as well as having to defend the worst record of any administration in living memory, and all this while the Republicans are fired up and enthused in a way we haven't seen since the Reagan years.
