I would love for Israel to be a much larger part of American Politics. Hopefully they would run our foreign policy as they have great insight on Arabs and the Middle East. if America was to "pay Israels rent, pay for their military, infrastructure & cover their depth" America would obtain a larger foothold overseas in return - it would be worth it. The cost for supporting Israel can be collected by higher taxes.
All Americans would accept a tax increase if the money went to Israel.
If that requires raising American's taxes so that Israel can "exist" are you okay with that, or will Likud play up Iran staging an "eminent attack on Israel" to garner an increase in aid?
I love how the Rightwing in America throw words like "commie" and "socialism" around in local elections, yet when you look at Israel's infrastructure and governance they implement a lot more social spending programs on their citizens like universal healthcare, subsidized housing, free education (including university) and they have compulsory service.
