I agree. Her character kills the mood of the show, with her flat delivery. Well, at least it's just for this season (hopefully).

I could not agree more. She is ruining the show for me. While Sheldon is such a fully realised dimensional character, she just acts wooden and speaks like a robot. It's like a bad Lilith impersonation. If she remains on the show I don't think I can watch.

Exactly. You really get the sense while watching the show that Jim Parsons is Sheldon Cooper but I'm fully aware that the actress playing Amy is indeed acting, and trying very hard to equal Parsons but failing miserably.

Part of it I guess is Mayim's wardrobe. Mayim is I believe orthodox Jewish and has to wear moddesty clothes that might kill the mood. In fact it's odd to see an acting endeavor out of a religious jewish woman.

Yeah because there are so few Jews in Hollywood.
