Does she have a hook for a hand now?

Her hand is intact. Actually this is the second mistake I've seen with IMDB. It wasn't her left hand, it was her right. Although you can read that on Wikipedia, its evident on the IMDB pic of her at the Emmy's where she is wearing a brace on her right hand.

anyone know if she is naturally left-handed or right handed?

On the big bang theory this year she's clearly using her left hand as the dominant one (including hand writing). Just kind of something I tend to focus on because i am on track to possibly have my dominant hand amputated (due to car accident as well).

She's ambidextrous. She writes with her right hand and holds silverware with her left.
