how many movies is he in with Johnny Depp?

they must be good friends or something, I saw him and Johnny Depp both in the Tourist, Transcendence, and Mortdecai

They seem to be close. Paul said in an interview that when Johnny comes to see him at home he won't leave for a couple of days and his kids have a special name for him (Uncle Fun) because he has his own island.

By the way if you watch their interviews together Paul seems to have the ability to understand Johnny's incomprehensible rambling. It's kinda fascinating and cute.

Johnny had asked for Paul to be in Transcendence and Mortdecai, after becoming friends with him on The Tourist. For Mortdecai, Johnny specifically asked for Paul, as Paul was the only one Johnny had in mind who could play the role of Jock. And yeah, it really shows in interviews that they are on the same wavelength. Their wonderful camaraderie just makes me grin.

I always imagine, if Paul had chosen to do The King's Speech and not The Tourist? Paul may have won award(s) but he would never have met Johnny. He would never have met such a great friend. And I am so glad that they made more movies together.
